We have already tried this. We have given these countries ‘loans’ and then when they don’t or can’t repay, forgiven the money. Been there, tried that.

So when they look at the problem of paying say at current insurance rate say $6,000 per year for health insurance(which will go up with their Obabmacare) or pay a $750 tax. Hmmm? What if they actually get sick? Something expensive say. No problem, the same stupid #### health bill says the insurance companies cannot fail to cover pre existing conditions. So, voila’. No worries. If you do get sick, you can buy insurance then. “Ya know man, I need my bucks. Got an eye on the new Xbox and we have a nice vacation scheduled plus I really need new wheels. I’ll just pay the tax.” Ya think?

Drill Here! Drill Now! Plug-In!

We need a CHANGE alright! But the RIGHT change!

Liberals need to give ground and agree to drill in ANWR, offshore and allow converting shale to oil. Conservatives should agree to an aggressive, government Manhattan Project II to GET the US OFF OIL, if not completely, then close to it.

The need to Drill Here, Drill Now is understood by a vast majority of the citizenry despite the multiple excuses of the Democrat Party which has been planning this oil debacle since and before Bill Clinton vetoed drilling in ANWR. By the way look at the pictures of the ANWR area to be drilled in. IT IS NOT the Grand Canyon, it’s a moonscape. We need to allow drilling in the US, stop demonizing the oil companies, and stop refusing to allow new refineries with endless mazes of regulations.

We need a program to get off oil. But in the meantime we need to keep the current fleet of cars and trucks and all the other stuff running. The next time you are on a freeway, try to estimate the value of all the vehicles you can see. Pretty high huh? All these things represent the second most expensive thing most people own and they are not going away overnight.

So we need to drill here, drill now to stop the torrential flow of cash out every day to pay for the twenty million barrels a day we go through.

Liberals need to get on the bandwagon. We must have more US oil production.

Most people would agree to the notion of getting off oil. It pollutes and provides Fanatic Islam funds to carry on their war against us. Oh yes, for you Global Warming religionists, it would save the planet. Cows expend more CO2 than cars but that’s for another day.

To accomplish this miracle, Conservative need to agree to a massive government program Manhattan Project II whose goals would be to reduce the number of gas driven vehicles to a minimum in ten years by:

Setting up a significant tax on gas only new cars based on their MPG ratings. This tax would escalate at first allowing the car companies to convert to new models.

Provide a tax break for Hybrid cars again based on their MPG rating.

Provide government payments toward the purchase of plug-in electric cars. These plug-in electric cars would be recharged at night, drawing their energy from the power grid. It is estimated that three quarters of the cars now on the road could be replaced using this method without the need to build a single additional power plant.

The extra tax brought in to the government would help finance the tax breaks and payouts for this fleet conversion. The amounts would be adjusted each year to try for a balance. Thus as time goes on and fewer gas guzzlers are sold, the tax to buy another one would rise. The more electrics purchased, the less the payout, etc.

We need atomic power plants to beef up the electrical grid.

A key requirement for all this to work is to require each electric power company to provide meters which allow off peak power pricing as they have in southern California and Arizona now. Also, the ability of have electrical outlets installed where cars are parked must the federally required.

These steps are somewhat Draconian. They could represent a compromise between the Liberals and Conservatives. The problem of oil in the hands of those who hate us is overwhelming and the effect on our economy in very damaging requiring a strong response.

We had 9/11, yet too many Americans still don’t get it or choose to ignore the obvious. We are in some kind of time warp, taken back to the time before America officially got into WWII. Then, as now, a lot of people put their heads in the sand and say we should stay out of it. Then it was, the Nazis aren’t so bad, just comical, it isn’t our fight and Mussolini makes the trains run on time. Now with the far left taking over the Democrat Party, the anti-war fervor is even more active than it was just before the date that would live in infamy, December 7, 1941. The sneak attack on Pearl Harbor changed things overnight. Now, we had our Pearl Harbor on the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center but the hate driven Democrats would rather fault the President than join in common cause to the defend not only the country, but Western Civilization.
Now, just as then, we are at war on many fronts, on a worldwide scale. We are at war, in Lebanon with the fighting between Israel and Iran’s version of the Storm Troopers, Hezbollah. We are at war in Afghanistan with the remnants of the Taliban, at war around the globe with the terrorist group Al Qaeda. And yes, Alice, in Iraq with the Shite militias, again agents of Iran, soldiers in the Islama-Nazis’ war with Western civilization.
This is World War III and although different, it has many similarities with WWII. In WWII, the base problem was the absurd racial notions the Nazis conjured up. The Muslim Wahabi Mullahs have distorted their “religious” notions in a similar absurd way to condone killing anyone or even everyone who doesn’t accept their crazy theories. A movement which raises children to be suicide bombers is on it’s face the definition of evil. It’s policy on women is based on the 12th century manners and customs. One direct association with the Nazi movement is of course the Isalma fascist’s hatred of the Jews. They have as a near term goal the annihilation of Israel, just a stepping stone to achieving world domination of the dark night of their version of Islam for the entire globe.
One wonders if the Iranian “President” selected by the unelected Mullahs is trying to even look like Hitler with his mustache and hair hanging down his forehead. He has put together his own version of the Axis Powers including Syria (his Italy), North Korea (his Japan) and he has even brought in Venezuela (his Spain). At first look this is not a very impressive coalition. There is no economic power here (about the gross yearly product of Cleveland except for our oil money Venezuela gets) but what these Islama-fascists lack in technical and economic power they loom big in the area of population, a population they are willing to use as for instance in a nuclear exchange. This is why it would not be rational to allow these crazies to develop nukes. In the old days, MAD, Mutually Assured Destruction, might be expected to work as it did the Russians. Various Iranian mullahs have already announced they will have no restraint in using these weapons as they can take the losses to their population while the West could not.
So in the face of this world situation what does our party out of power choose to do? Push a program of defeat and retreat plus depreciate anything the President and his administration tries to do. Another 9/11 foiled? This was caused by the war in Iraq, as if the Japanese fought to the end because they were angry about Guadalcanal. Catching intercepts of conversations between terrorists? The President is defying the Constitution.
Sometimes, an election is typified by one phrase. This year it may well be, “It’s a War Stupid.”

T o get out of a difficulty, one usually must go through it. Our country is now facing the most serious threat to its existence, as we know it, that we have faced in your lifetime and mine (which includes WWII).The deadly seriousness is greatly compounded by the fact that there are very few of us who think we can possibly lose this war, and even fewer who realize what losing really means.First, let's examine a few basics: 1. When did the threat to us start?Many will say September 11, 2001. The answer, as far as the United States is concerned, is 1979 22 yyears prior to September 2001 with the following attacks on us:

Iran Embassy Hostages, 1979;

Beirut, Lebanon, Embassy, 1983;

Beirut, Lebanon, Marine Barracks, 1983;

Lockerbie, Scotland, Pan-Am flight to New York, 1988;

First New York World Trade Center attack, 1993;

Oklahoma City Murrah Federal Building, 1995;

Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, Khobar Towers Military complex, 1996; Nairobi, Kenya, U.S. Embassy, 1998;

Dares Salaam, Tanzania, U.S. Embassy, 1998;

Aden, Yemen, USS Cole, 2000;

New York, World Trade Center, 2001;

Pentagon, 2001; Shanksville, Pennsylvania, Plane Crash, 2001

(Note that during the period from 1981 to 2001 there were 7,581 terrorist attacks worldwide).

2. Why were we attacked?

Envy of our position, our success, and our freedoms. 1 The attacks happened during the administrations of Presidents Carter, Reagan, Bush, Clinton, and Bush 2 We cannot fault either the Republicans or Democrats, as there were no provocations by any of the Presidents or their immediate predecessors, Presidents Ford or Carter. 3 Who were the attackers?In each case, the attacks on the U.S. were carried out by Muslims. 1 What is the Muslim population of the World? 25 percent. 2 Isn't the Muslim Religion peaceful?Hopefully, but that is really not material. There is no doubt that the predominently Christian population of Germany was peaceful, but under the dictatorial leadership of Hitler (who was also Christian), that made no difference. You either went along with the administration, or you were eliminated. There were 5 to 6 million Christians killed by the Nazis for political reasons (including 7,000 Polish priests).Thus, almost the same number of Christians were killed by the Nazis, as the six million holocaust Jews who were killed by them, and we seldom heard of anything other than the Jewish atrocities.Although Hitler kept the world focused on the Jews, he had no hesitancy about killing anyone who got in his way of exterminating the Jews, or of taking over the world German, Christtian, or any others.Same with the Muslim terrorists. They focus the attention of the world on the U.S., but kill all in the way their own people, or the Spanish, French, or anyone else. The point here, is that just like the peaceful Germans were of no protection to anyone from the Nazis, no matter how many peaceful Muslims there may be, they are no protection for us from the terrorist Muslim leaders, and what they are fanatically bent on doing by their own pronouncements killing all of us "infidels." I don't blame the peaceful Muslims. What would you do if the choice was shut up, or die? 1 So who are we at war with?There is no way we can honestly respond that it is anyone other than the Muslim terrorists. Trying to be politically correct, and avoid verbalizing this conclusion can well be fatal. There is no way to win, if you don't clearly recognize, and articulate who you are fighting.

So with that background, now to the two major questions: 1 Can we lose this war? 2 What does losing really mean?

If we are to win, we must clearly answer these two pivotal questions.We can definitely lose this war, and as anomalous as it may sound, the major reason we can lose is that so many of us simply do not fathom the answer to the second question "What does losing mean?"It would appear that a great many of us think that losing the war means hanging our heads, bringing the troops home, and going on about our business, like post-Vietnam. This is as far from the truth as one can get. What losing really means is: We would no longer be the premier country in the world. The attacks will not subside, but rather will steadily increase. Remember, they want us dead, not just quiet. If they had just wanted us quiet, they would not have produced an increasing series of attacks against us, over the past 18 years. The plan was clearly, for terrorists to attack us, until we were neutered, and submissive to them.We would, of course, have no future support from other nations, for fear of reprisals, and for the reason that they would see that we are impotent, and cannot help them.They will pick off the other non-Muslim nations, one at a time. It will be increasingly easier for them. They already hold Spain hostage. It doesn't matter whether it was right or wrong for Spain to withdraw its troops from Iraq. Spain did it because the Muslim terrorists bombed their train, and told them to withdraw the troops. Anything else they want Spain to do, will be done. Spain is finished.The next will probably be France. Our one hope on France is that they might see the light and realize that if we don't win, they are finished too, in that they can't resist the Muslim terrorists without us. However, it may already be too late for France. France is already 20 percent Muslim, and fading fast! If we lose the war, our production, income, exports, and way of life will all vanish, as we know it. After losing, who would trade or deal with us, if they were threatened by the Muslims?If we can't stop the Muslims, how could anyone else?The Muslims fully know what is riding on this war, and therefore, are completely committed to winning, at any cost. We better know it too, and be likewise committed to winning at any cost.Why do I go on at such lengths about the results of losing? Simple. Until we recognize the costs of losing, we cannot unite, and really put 100 percent of our thoughts and efforts into winning. And, it is going to take that 100 percent effort to win. So, how can we lose the war?Again, the answer is simple. We can lose the war by "imploding." That is, defeating ourselves, by refusing to recognize the enemy and their purpose, and really digging in and lending full support to the war effort. If we are united, there is no way that we can lose. If we continue to be divided, there is no way that we can win!Let me give you a few examples of how we simply don't comprehend the life-and-death seriousness of this situation.President Bush selects Norman Mineta as Secretary of Transportation. Although all of the terrorist attacks were committed by Muslim men between 17 and 40 years of age, Secretary Mineta refuses to allow profiling. Does that sound like we are taking this thing seriously?This is war! For the duration, we are going to have to give up some of the civil rights we have become accustomed to. We had better be prepared to lose some of our civil rights temporarily, or we will most certainly lose all of them, permanently.And, don't worry that it is a slippery slope. We gave up plenty of civil rights during WWII, and immediately restored them after the victory, and in fact, added many more since then.

Do I blame President Bush or President Clinton before him?No, I blame us for blithely assuming we can maintain all of our Political Correctness, and all of our civil rights during this conflict, and have a clean, lawful, honorable war. None of those words apply to war. Get them out of your head.Some have gone so far in their criticism of the war and/or the Administration that it almost seems they would literally like to see us lose. I hasten to add that this isn't because they are disloyal. It is because they just don't recognize what losing means. Nevertheless, that conduct gives the impression to the enemy that we are divided and weakening. It concerns our friends, and it does great damage to our cause.Of more recent vintage, the uproar fueled by the politicians and media regarding the treatment of some prisoners of war, perhaps exemplifies best what I am saying.We have recently had an issue, involving the treatment of a few Muslim prisoners of war, by a small group of our military police.These are the type of prisoners, who just a few months ago, were throwing their own people off buildings, cutting off their hands, cutting out their tongues, and otherwise murdering their own people, just for disagreeing with Saddam Hussein.And just a few years ago, these same types of prisoners chemically killed 400,000 of their own people for the same reason. They are also the same type of enemy fighters who recently were burning Americans, and dragging their charred corpses through the streets of Iraq.And still more recently, the same type of enemy that was, and is, providing videos to all news sources internationally, of the beheading of American prisoners they held.Compare this with some of our press and politicians, who, for several days, have thought and talked about nothing else but the "humiliating" of some Muslim prisoners not burning them, not draggging their charred corpses through the streets, not beheading them, but "humiliating" them.Can this be for real?The politicians and pundits have even talked of impeachment of the Secretary of Defense.If this doesn't show the complete lack of comprehension and understanding of the seriousness of the enemy we are fighting, the life and death struggle we are in, and the disastrous results of losing this war, nothing can.To bring our country to a virtual political standstill over this prisoner issue makes us look like Nero playing his fiddle, as Rome burned totally oblivious to what is going on in the real world. Neither we, nor any other country, can survive this internal strife.Again I say, this does not mean that some of our politicians or media people are disloyal. It simply means that they are absolutely oblivious to the magnitude of the situation we are in, and into which the Muslim terrorists have been pushing us, for many years. Remember, the Muslim terrorists' stated goal is to kill all infidels! That translates into all non-Muslims not just in thee United States, but throughout the world.We are the last bastion of defense.We have been criticized, for many years, as being "arrogant." That charge is valid, in at least one respect. We are arrogant in that we believe that we are so good, powerful, and smart; that we can win the hearts and minds of all those who attack us; and that with both hands tied behind our back, we can defeat anything bad in the world!We can't!If we don't recognize this, our nation as we know it, will not survive, and no other free country in the World will survive, if we are defeated.And finally, name any Muslim countries throughout the world that allow freedom of speech, freedom of thought, freedom of religion, freedom of the press, equal rights for anyone let alone everyone, equal status, or any status for women, or that have been productive in one single way that contributes to the good of the world.This has been a long way of saying that we must be united on this war, or we will be equated in the history books to the self-inflicted fall of the Roman Empire. If, that is, the Muslim leaders will allow history books to be written, or read.If we don't win this war right now, keep a close eye on how the Muslims take over France in the next 5 years or less. They will continue to increase the Muslim population of France, and continue to encroach little by little, on the established French traditions. The French will be fighting among themselves, over what should or should not be done, which will continue to weaken them, and keep them from any united resolve. Doesn't that sound eerily familiar? Democracies don't have their freedoms taken away from them by some external military force. Instead, they give their freedoms away, politically correct piece by politically-correct piece.And, they are giving those freedoms away to those who have shown, worldwide, that they abhor freedom, and will not apply it to you, or even to themselves, once they are in power. They have universally shown that when they have taken over, they then start brutally killing each other, over who will be the few who control the masses. Will we ever stop hearing from the politically correct, about the "peaceful Muslims"?I close on a hopeful note, by repeating what I said above. If we are united, there is no way that we can lose. I hope, now after the election, the factions in our country will begin to focus on the critical situation we are in, and will unite to save our country. It is your future we are talking about! Do whatever you can to preserve it.After reading the above, we all must do this not only for ourselves, but our children, our grandchildren, our country, and the World.Whether Democrat or Republican, conservative or liberal, and that includes the Politicians and media of our country, and the free World!

Coward Dean, leading anti-American American spokesman for the Al-Queda and the head of leading fifth column, the Dummycrats, declared surrender, “We can’t win in Iraq, it’s just like Vietnam.” (Note: The party formerly known as the Democrat Party has admirably chosen to realize the hypocrisy of being against the propagation of democracy in the world so they have chosen to change the party’s name.) Well, the situation may look to defeatists like Vietnam all over again, and while the Dummycrats are staking their future on America’s defeat and their mindless fascination with making it Vietnam, it’s not.
In Iraq we are fighting, along with the ever strengthening Iraq forces, an enemy composed of a portion of the minority Suni population, the Saddamist and Islamic fascists led by al Zaquari. This combined coalition cannot hold a city or town and is not safe anywhere in Iraq. The leader of these foreigners in Iraq is a leader in Al-Queda. This is the group that took down the World Trade Center on 9/11. The leaders of the communists in Vietnam never attacked New York City.
In Vietnam, two great communist powers in the world supported and backed the North Vietnamese. In Iraq, support comes, less openly, from Iran and Syria. These are two evil regimes for sure, but not the same as Russia and China. Not the same as the Vietnam War.
In Iraq, a democracy is building, step by step in a very rapid way, providing an alternative to the fascists plan for Iraq that Al-Queda foresees. That incidentally, is a vision greater than just holding Iraq, but rather making it the capital for increased military power to first unify all Muslim countries under a single control then taking over the entire world. This is a little broader the Vietnamese communists plan was which was to control their own country. Not a good outcome but not a threat to the whole world either.
Often the critics say our efforts in Afghanistan were ok but Iraq was a mistake. Fighting there has made the Islamic fascists angry. That’s like saying American forces approaching the Rhine River made the Germans angry and led to the Battle of the Bulge. Iraq is just the current battlefield with these crazies who want to take the world back the twelfth century and battle the Crusaders again. The struggle is not about Iraq any more than World War II was about Guadalcanal.
Forgotten, is the struggle in the Philippines to bring democracy to that former Spanish colony. A rebel insurgency was put down and today the country is, for better or worse, a democracy. This struggle in Iraq is more similar to that than Vietnam.
Unlike Vietnam, the struggle to bring democracy to Iraq is one we cannot afford to lose. Establishing a Islamo fascist regime in Iraq would create a base for the killers which would out do the one in Afghanistan allowed by the Taliban. Even though they won, the Vietcong never planned an attack on Western civilization as do the Islamo Fascists.
Finally the key difference is that now, even though there is still the same cabal of treachery in the US Senate calling for cut and run, the US will never do that as long as President George Hebert Walker Bush is President.

New name for the fifth column

Historic news: The fifth column group headed by the diminutive bug out boy from Vermont has decided on a name change. Having placed their trust and backing in the roadside bombers and assassins of Al-Qaeda in Iraq, the group is changing its name. How very appropriate. The formerly kook led party once known as the Democrat Party will now be the Dummycrats. Smart move. Along with Moveon.org and the rest of the anti-American Americans, the party will now officially back isolation as well as not winning since America is the evil thing in the world. Fostering democracy is out. This will be their choice for a foreign policy. Isolation has worked so well, say before WWII or say after we bugged out in Mogadisu. Congrats to the Dummycrats.

The fifth column of anti-American Americans continue in their traitorous efforts to defeat the US efforts to bring democracy to Iraq. Led by the diminutive Howie Dean, the Dummycrats, continue to froth at the mouth, mouthing the big lie that the President lied about the reasons for freeing Iraq from a dictator who is in the league of Hitler and Stalin. They rejoice at the total of deaths of American soldiers while never considering the numbers of enemy killers that have been taken out. They downgrade the brave Iraqis that are taking more and more responsibility for their own country. In short the Dummycrats are investing in an American defeat with their unrelenting implacable hatred of ‘W’. Shame, shame on these despicable dimwits that live in an alternate universe of myth and lies.

Why this mindless search for whoever outed Valerie Plame? {Her husband is known to have done this months before Scooter Liby ever heard of her.} First of all she’s not a covert agent. She works at the CIA clipping newspapers. Give me a break! Second of all, the fact that she is a CIA agent should help support the lies her husband told. Yes, things he says about his CIA mission have been proved lies. He is the one that should be investigated. But the really stupid thing in all this is there is a CIA leak. The left wing rags printed the information about ‘secret’ prisons the CIA has for the great quantity of terrorists it has taken off the streets in foreign countries. Now the Jihadists will know where to attack to set these top line killers loose again to kill more unbelievers. We are like Alice in Wonderland.
